Our Vision
We create therapist-led safe spaces that allow attendees to learn about themselves and explore how to reach romantic and sexual fulfilment and lead happier lives.
There’s a lot we are never really taught about sex and relationships, meaning that most of us come into adulthood without having learnt how to be a good partner or what makes a healthy relationship. We learn through trial and error over many years until we think we have the hang of it.
At Voluptas Events, it is our mission to fill this educational gap with therapist and expert-led events designed to support adults in building stronger and healthier relationships through connection and communication.
We cover a wide variety of topics, from relationship and communication skills, sex and dating to polyamory and kink. Whatever you’re interested in, we have an event for you.

Introducing Ruth and Lydia
About Ruth
Ruth has a background in small businesses covering every aspect of what that entails. She has also been active in third sector work for years with a lot of experience in curating and running events.
Her passion lies in creating and holding safe and inclusive spaces for all - particularly looking at the holistic side of life and tapping into the divine feminine within. She is an advocate for body positivity and practicing more open discussions when it comes to sex and female pleasure.
She is a mother of three and an art student. Like Lydia, Ruth is driven by a desire to host high-end events bringing people together and spread knowledge of often ‘taboo’ subjects.
About Lydia
A Marketer by trade, Lydia has spent the past ten years working within global advertising agencies and private consulting.
After spotting a gap in the market for a feminine-focussed BDSM brand, Lydia launched Kilter in 2022 with the mission to address the stigma surrounding consensual and risk-aware kink exploration.
Passionate about facilitating more open conversations around self and partnered pleasure, launching Voluptas Events with Ruth is a continuation of that mission to demonstrate that discussion of pleasure should never be taboo.
